As a result of this learning opportunity, SAUSD staff will be prepared to serve as RP leaders on their campuses. This session will cover

  • the basics of RP
  • how RP differs from Restorative Justice
  • the history of RP in SAUSD
  • how to use restorative practices to provide support at all three MTSS tiers
  • how to use affective statements to support students
  • how to use RP questions to support students in conflict or harm
  • how to design and facilitate RP circles
