In Module 2 of GATE certification, participants will be provided with an overview of the characteristics of gifted learners. We will learn about the positive and negative manifestations of the cognitive and affective characteristics commonly found in the gifted population.

GATE certification is available to all K-12 district staff (classroom teachers, resource teachers, counselors, administrators). This training is a voluntary, unpaid professional learning opportunity. Your participation must be on your own time or through the approval of your supervisor if you are participating during normal working hours.
